Beauty of Uzbekistan 13 March - 2 April

DILOROM MAMEDOVA and DILMUROD YULDASHEV “The Beauty of Uzbekistan”

at Baginskaya Gallery and Studio | March 13 – April 2, 2014

Dubai (March 2, 2014) – Baginskaya Gallery and Studio and Rusanor Trading are presenting two Uzbek artists, Dilorom Mamedova and Dilmurod Yuldashev, in the joint exhibition “Beauty of Uzbekistan”.

Mamedova is deeply attached to the culture and tradition of her country which manifests itself in her choice of subject matter. Her art is inspired by the daily life of ordinary people. With much effection she paints people surrounded by beautiful architecture of her beloved country. The artist works in different genres: landscape, city scape, still life. Many of her works are influenced by impressionism, however, the viewers will have a chance to see some of Mamedova’s semi-abstract works which are more slylised yet equally attractive.

Yuldashev is primarily a landscape painter who praises the beauty of his motherland. He renders it through his choice of colours, his way of applying paint on canvas and composing works. Being very expressive, his trees, mountains, blooming gardens make the spectators believe in the miracle of nature, which, thanks to Yuldashev, becomes almost a dream-like.

The preview is on March 13 at 7.00pm. The exhibition will run until April 2, 2014.
